Introduction

As one of the world's oldest civilizations, China has an extensive cultural history, which dates back more than 5000 years. Its mystery, majesty and traditions have made it one of the most diverse and magnificent countries in the world. Rich in artistic and cultural splendor, China continues to make great contributions to  mankind. With ever increasing power and influence, China has become a rising superpower, making learning Chinese a necessity in the competitive world market.

To enrich the lives of students from every walk of life and to expose young people to new adventures, China Quest has served as host for the past decade to more than 500 high school and college students from around the globe. Our summer program, which was developed specifically for those with a deep interest in Chinese language and culture, offers students first-hand insight into China's deep traditions. Combining Chinese language classes with an adventurous tour of China makes our program the most well-balanced language and culture immersion program in China.

For those with an inquisitive thirst for cultural diversity, adventure and a desire to experience the grandeur of the world's most populous country, our program offers one of the most exciting and unique opportunities of a lifetime. More than an academic in-class learning experience, our program makes it possible for students to assimilate the magnificent environment, gaining profound knowledge into the Chinese culture and language.
